LLWWC 36 - Altered Embellishments

Hi everyone! It's time for La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

Maureen is our challenge hostess this week!
Her challenge: ALTERED EMBELLISHMENTS.
She wants us to take a store bought embellishment and change it in some way!
She has these suggestions as examples:
Cut a petal off a flower to make a butterfly, sew a running stitch through some ribbon and gather to make a ruffle, take any embellishment and color it with paints/inks/markers, etc.

Maureen is using Birthday Cake Maya on her card so it is on sale for 20% OFF through next Tuesday!

I made a pretty two-toned bow out of ribbon for the challenge. I also took two flowers and put them together with a brad for a layered look.

Here's my card using Cupcake Rosie:

I used the sketch for this week's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #53

Here's what I did to make the bow:

Now hop on over to La-La Land Crafts to see all of the fabulous samples created by our awesome Design Team and Guest Designers!

Jane, this is so cute. I love that bow and thanks for showing how you made it - it's great! I had those papers and what a great combination you made of them. You're so talented! :-)
