For all you Prettie peeps, WELCOME to another Pretties Wednesday Challenge & Blog Hop! If you didn't come here from Wendy's blog then you might want to hop over to the very start of the blog hop with Christie HERE. Don't want you to miss a thing!

The challenge this week is hosted by Heather, who challenged us to use PUNCHES! You can use any paper punch, border or regular punch on your project. Nope... Nestabilities and other die cuts do NOT count!

The stamps that the design team are using on our card/projects this week are “Rainy Day Friends” and “Soakin’ Up The Sun”. Both of these stamps sets are available in the Paper Pretties Store for sale this week at 35% off!!

I used Soakin' Up The Sun and here's my sample for this challenge!

Now it's time to hop over and see which one Jennifer went with... Rain or Shine?

Then come play along with us!

How to Enter:
Create a card/project using the challenge above with Paper Pretties images.
Upload your project to the Paper Pretties Gallery.
Be sure to put it in the Weekly Challenges category and use keyword PWC101!

Can't wait to see you get punchy!

LLWWC 36 - Altered Embellishments

Hi everyone! It's time for La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

Maureen is our challenge hostess this week!
Her challenge: ALTERED EMBELLISHMENTS.
She wants us to take a store bought embellishment and change it in some way!
She has these suggestions as examples:
Cut a petal off a flower to make a butterfly, sew a running stitch through some ribbon and gather to make a ruffle, take any embellishment and color it with paints/inks/markers, etc.

Maureen is using Birthday Cake Maya on her card so it is on sale for 20% OFF through next Tuesday!

I made a pretty two-toned bow out of ribbon for the challenge. I also took two flowers and put them together with a brad for a layered look.

Here's my card using Cupcake Rosie:

I used the sketch for this week's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #53

Here's what I did to make the bow:

Now hop on over to La-La Land Crafts to see all of the fabulous samples created by our awesome Design Team and Guest Designers!
