This beautiful cake was made and airbrushed by Geri (owner of Cranberry Hill Mercantile). She took an empty Copic marker, filled it with food coloring, then airbrushed the cake! Not only did it look fantastic, it was SO delicious!
Irina read a few character descriptions written by Mark Peterson. Here, Irina is reading about Fairy Lala.
Irina and Mark
La-Land Crafts stamps are revealed!
So grateful for our customers and friends who came to show their support!
I didn't get a chance to take many photos during the event so I missed out on taking photos of Irina with individual friends. However, I did manage to get these taken!
Irina, Michelle VanWiggeren, and Jane
Michelle is a mutual friend of ours. I first met Irina a couple of years ago at Michelle's home during a Stampin' Up workshop. Michelle reminded me last night of just how excited I was to meet Irina in person. I had and still have so much admiration for Irina... such amazing talent!
Nancy Grant and me
You should have seen my reaction to seeing Nancy there! It must have been so funny! I first met Nancy during the Copic Certification at Winter CHA in January. We sat together at the same table. She is just the sweetest person... beautiful inside and out. Imagine my surprise at seeing her at the La-La Gala when she is supposed to be in ALASKA! Well, she filled me in on having moved to Oregon and then her sister having heart failure and coming out here for that. Long story short, I haven't visited anyone's blog in a very long time and have missed out on quite a bit. I am really sorry, Nancy! But seeing Nancy there last night was one of the highlights of the evening. I didn't get much of a chance to visit with her though. :(
Irina was quite pleased to see how many of the stamps had sold so quickly.
Hope you enjoyed the photos!
I am going to take the boys to the pool for a few hours. When I get back, I will be sure to post pictures of the cards that I had made for the grand opening display boards.
