LLWWC25 - No Designer Paper!

Welcome to La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge! Lisa is our host this week and she has a fun challenge for us all... no designer paper! Here's what she has to say:

"I challenge you to make a card without using any designer/decorative paper (including any you stamp on your own). Yep, that's right... only cardstock! But you can dry emboss the cardstock layers and use whatever embellishments you want. It's sort of the old-fashioned way of card-making!"

One lucky participant will win wonderful this stamp, Sitting Lala:

This challenge was really fun to do!
I started by dry embossing white cardstock with "Elegant Bouquet" textured impressions embossing folder (SU). Using Classic Oval Large and Classic Scalloped Oval Large nesties, I created a frame for sweet Rosie to stand in. I matched the dry embossing on the white oval. The ribbon is green because of Rosie's eyes and I also wanted it to look like the ends of the ribbon were leaves for the felt flower. It looked a little bare so I added some flower buttons (SU).

Paper: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink
Nestabilites: Classic Oval Large, Classic Scalloped Oval Large
Ribbon: Spring Moss (Papertrey Ink)
Buttons: Latte (SU)
Flower: Sweet Pea Stitched Felt (SU)
Copics: E0000, E00, E01, E09, E19, E74, R46, R81, R85, BG93

Please visit La-La Land Crafts for more information on this challenge and to see what the rest of the Design Team and Guest Designers have come up with!
