Monday's Fun Day ~ Tim Holtz Idea-ology

This giveaway is now closed!

Here's a tidbit that not many know about me.
I am a HUGE Tim Holtz fan.
That's right. I totally dig all things grundge and distressed.

Meeting him in person at Winter CHA (January) was just awesome.
Thursday, I will share a tag that he demonstrated and some pics to go with it.

Here's something I whipped up tonight just for the fun of it:

I used my Nestabilities tag to make the tag from Grundgepaper.
Then I pressed the tag onto an Antique Linen distress ink pad.

A quick spritz with my mister:

I used my heating tool to air dry the wet ink.

I repeated the process with Tea Dye distress ink:

Have you ever used these masks? They are a lot of fun to play with.

I couldn't easily locate my blending tool so I used a napkin instead.

Remove the mask (Tim Holtz Idea-ology Masks):

Add some foliage from his Idea-ology collection:

I am going to use it as a bookmark. :)

So now we can move on to the Monday's Fun Day!

I had so much fun using Tim Holtz's Idea-ology line that I have a couple of my favorites to give away this week, courtesy of Memories Live On:

To qualify, simply post here if you are a fan of Tim Holtz or not. If you are, then let me know what you like from his product line. If you have something that you have made with some of his stuff, then please put a link here to share. I would love to see!

You have until Sunday, August 16th, to get in on the fun.
I will draw a name at midnight.

Good luck!

I love the look of what I've seen but I've never actually tried any of it. I hadn't seen the things you're giving away before- only the inks- but they look amazing!

I have admired Tim Holtz's products, but was afraid to try. After seeing your demo, I am definitely going to get some of that distress ink and try on some of my cards.

Your tag is beautiful!

The second card on here is a purple butterly. The glossy paper the butterfly is on is colored with his alcohol inks.

Beautiful tag! I like Tim Holtz, but it frightens me a bit to try his style 'cause I like to control everything and that's something you can't while distressing. Thanks for a chance to win! Greetings from Belgium, Annelies

Ooo...I love the distress inks a lot. I came to know how to use it just May this year when I attended an art retreat. Since then, I've been buying and buying the whole range of the distress ink. And I have the grungeboard alphas and I love it.

I know I'm late for this giveaway, but I want to share a project I made using my alcohol inks. I'm a huge Tim fan and I'm working on my distressed style. It's hard when I'm a perfectionist, lol. Here's my project:
