One day at a time...

Hey everyone! It has been a long time since I have been able get crafty, let alone "feel" crafty. Thank you to all who have sent me emails asking how I was doing and checking in with me. I appreciate your kind thoughts and encouraging words.

Ken is now on Singulair, Allegra, and Flonase. He will be starting his three allergy shots, 2 times a week, in about a month. Ken is also allergic to citrus and peanuts... we now carry an EpiPen for his peanut allergy as a precaution.

My migraines are more frequent and painful. Looking into what my options are... accupuncture, chiropractic therapy, massage therapy, CQ10... any other suggestions?
In the meantime, I keep telling myself "one day at a time." Sometimes, it's "one moment at a time" or "one foot in front of the other"... "just keep swimming"... "you can do it"... :)

I managed to get a few custom cards done for a client...

RE: migraines...I don't know your history but some thoughts...try an Osteopath..they do spinal manipulation and have more medical school background than MD's. AND try a really good dentist...a friend solved her migraines with braces and some jaw changes. AND have you had your eyes checked too? Ask the Osteopath about having an MRI performed. Just some thoughts! And don't give UP!!!!

Gorgeous cards, Jane! Love them all. Hope that Ken's allergies will be under control now and that you'll soon be able to solve the mystery of your migraines so you'll soon be migraine free.

Hi Jane, sorry to hear about Kevin's company, Ken's allergies, and your migraines. Your family is really getting hit from all directions. Please know that I'm thinking about you.

Food allergies sound scary. I'm glad Kalino doesn't suffer from any. Claritin/Zyrtec and Flonase seem to help his seasonal allergies. It's not perfect. At night, he sometimes has very itchy eyes. The air purifier in his room helps too.

There's strong evidence that Botox helps migraine sufferers. Several family members get migraines, so I know how debilitating they can be.
