A Botanical Monday's Fun Day!

This MFD is now closed! Thank you everyone who posted to enter for the drawing!

I wish I could say "Happy Monday" like I normally do but unfortunately, today proved to be a very difficult day for Kevin. He went into work to find out that his work had filed for bankruptcy and most of the employees had to be let go today. He will continue to work for a while longer... it's just really hard to take it all in. So like I have been telling all of my friends who have lost their jobs over the past months... "When one door closes, another door opens." I hope that door will open very soon for Kevin. Hang in there, my love! It will be okay in the end.

This week's Monday's Fun Day comes from Joni down in Mission Viejo, CA. You can find her fabulous pictures, layouts, and cards on her blog, Kix in Life. She mailed me the Sale-A-Bration stamp set that she had earned to give away on my blog. How awesome is that? Thank you, Joni!!!

Hello! I'm sorry about your hubby's work situation, I hope everything will be fine!
Thanks for a chance to win this fabulous set. I don't have any Floral stamp sets, only one little flower stamp from the Queen Kat Designs, I use it a lot, so I'll just say that one is my favourite.
Have a great day

What a difficult time for you and your husband. So hard to be upbeat with sadness all around. Hope things change for the better sooner rather than later. My current favorite floral is Fifth Avenue Floral from SU. Thanks the chance to win a fun looking set. jmniffer

Oh Jane, it never rains but pours! I pray all things work out for you, your migraines go, Ken's allergies get better, and Kevin gets a new and better opportunity to provide for his family.
I love the set you have showcased; I can already imagine the happy spring card I could make with it. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Hi Jane,

Thanks so much for giving us a chance to win this beautiful stamps set.
I don't have a favourite flower stamp because I love all flower stamps. But I can say that I love a lot pansies'colors.

Hugs to you and your hubby. I hope all will be fine soon. My hubby is having job problems too and we are trying to get that worked out. Meanwhile it sure makes it difficult at times. Also, I seem to know a lot of friends and aquaintances that are very sick with cancer etc. It is just hard to be positive. Maybe I need to splurge and buy the daffadil or Siberian Iris stamp from Flourishes, I believe. People have been doing some super colorings of them and with spring upon us - I could definitely use some inspiration and pretty colors. Maybe you should keep the stamp set and make yourself and your husband some great cards for inspiration! Hugs and prayers!

Hope your husband finds another great job soon. I like larger flower stamps, so I can cut them out and use them on cards.
