I had posted this card in my last post but didn't show you what was inside it.
I had designed it for one of my Japanese workshops.
It's really pretty with the new Haiku DSP and Riding Hood Red / Chocolate Chip / Old Olive combo. The inside features a spiral pop-up that opens sideways instead of the traditional "up and down" motion.
I also made this little box and notecard set for one of my Japanese workshop regulars who needed some inspiration with the stamp set.
I received a request to post the folder system that I use when I teach at Memories Live On, on my blog. I used it today for my evening Hostess Club Workshop since I wasn't sure if I was going to have 3 or 7 ladies coming over. It's an idea that I borrowed from Julie Ebersole when I was up in Sacramento a few months ago. Julie was there teaching a couple of A muse-a-Palooza classes at The Paper Garden. She is such a sweetie and so full of energy! Her folders inspired me to make my own when I first got my job teaching at MLO. Thank you, Julie!

Great cards! Wish I lived in driving distance! :)My favorite chocolate is See's Scotchmallows. Can you believe I did not make it to the store when we were out this summer? I know, it is a horrible fact! I did succomb to the kiosk in the SFO airport however so I could get my fix...sad, sad, sad. :)
Well now, I think this Monday's Fun Day is going overseas! lol!
Don't you live in Japan?
Email me your address and I will get this postal to you right away.

Hey Jane! GREAT cards..I need the Haiku dp :) Thanks for the peek in your craft room..I love seeing where everyone's creativity sparks...one of these days I'll clean up my space and post it on my blog :) Julie is a whipper snapper, isn't she?!!!
Congrats to the winner!
And yes, I love seeing where people craft too! LOVE the box you made....now HOW did you make it?
Gotta remember the craft "inept" people! LOL
Have a great day! :)
You can't see me, but I am totally doing the Happy Dance right now! Thanks SO MUCH!!
Yes, I am in Japan, but the military takes the mail right up the road from you...in Alameda. So my zip code is actually there in the Bay Area! Pretty cool.
I love seeing people's craft rooms as well. I love your turning display rack! You have a virtual store, don't you! :)
Very, very cool folder project for your classes. How organized! I love the box, too. I'm not totally into Always (I know it's popular but, just not quite my thing.) But, these projects are awesome!
Hi Jane,
Love all your projects and the pictures of your craft room! The folders are a really neat idea too!
Hugs,
Michelle
Hi Jane,
What a fabulous idea for presenting card "packets" at a workshop. Could you maybe post some more details about the folders and how they're put together?
That's the best idea on that that I've seen so far!! Thanks!
Melanie
Hey, YAY for YOU, Jane-girl! So glad to see that folder idea came in handy for you, too! *smooches* Julie
Great pics - love the new spindle for your craft room; glad to see one of us put Julie's idea to good use, would love to hear how that went over in your class, and awesome projects!
Just stopping by to check out your blog... thanks for stopping by to see mine =) I love these projects and am excited to meet a SU person since my old gal isn't selling any more.
You have an amazing craft room...it looks amazing.
We are currently decorating my craft room so my stuff is all over the place cannot wait to get it painted & new flooring. Getting new desks too so I cannot wait.
Thanks for sharing your room.
