Monday's Fun Day!

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!

We spent yesterday with my parents up in San Francisco.

We had such a fantastic time!
Keiji was asleep the minute the car started down the hill on the way home! lol!
Ken would not stop talking about his day with his Obaachan and Ojiichan.

Not much stamping done this weekend, but I will up late working on some swaps.
Hopefully I will have something to post tomorrow!

Monday's Fun Day!
I do have a few clear stamps that I found at my local Michael's the other day to give away! I picked out some that I thought you might like to have... I know that not everyone's Michaels carries the same stuff.

This summer we plan on opening a studio in our home so clients will be able to look over our digital scrapbooking. We will also be selling hnadstamped greeting cards.
We will be spending the next month getting ready to open. We hope to open by July 4th.

I have no "fun" summer plans.... My 3rd daughter, her husband and one of my grandbabies are moving to Florida, leaving July first. My 11 year old daughter is driving there with them and will fly back on July 29th. During that month I hope to sort through things and de-clutter so that hopefully WHEN the time comes to move I won't have so much stuff to actually move. We have lived in this 5 bedroom home for 10 years now and when we moved in I had 4 daughters living at home, my nephew and 2 other young men living here with us... Now that it is just Cassie and I it seems like an awful lot of wasted space (rooms filled with junk basically) so the time is coming... MAYBE this summer :)
Now that you have my loooonnnnggggg answer, Thank you for the chance to win!

My summer plans are to travel to different states and attending races with my friends. My daughter may even tag along on a few of them.

Well...my youngest and I are going to visit my 82 year old grandpa who just had quadruple bypass in a couple of weeks. Then we have VBS, DS has camp, and the rest of the summer should be filled with relaxing and fun. I think I'll also host a couple of 5th grade class parties for my son as he is attending a private school (one he's been to before) next year and it will probably be good for him to get to know everyone.

Yay! I can't wait for it to all get started!

Hey Jane! I'm so glad you got to spend some time with your parents! This summer we are going to go see my dad in Arkansas, and hopefully my sister and her DH and girls will be able to tag along. We also need to move somewhere closer to our jobs so we can save a buck or two on gas!

Well we weren't going to be able to do anything since we need a new car and a new roof.

But I received a surpise in my email box. I won a contest!!! It is for 4 tickets to Alive '08. This is a 3 day, all day christian concert with many of the top performers. The contest was called the 08 Alive Ultimate Camping Experience. Which means they give us a prime camp site, set up the tent and 4 chairs. So we just show up with our luggage and food!

My kids were so excited when they opened their emails to the forwarded notification of winning.

I will also be taxi service to my 2 teenagers... School Band practice, Soccer Conditioning, Band Practice (my son is in a christian band called Underone Skye) and all the other things they're involved in.

I'd love to win!

Thanks for the opportunity Jane!!
