Monday's Fun Day!

Oh my! This Monday has almost come and gone! lol!
Did you get your taxes done? Mine are just about done! Hooray! A few signatures and all we have to do is turn the paperwork in.

So it's another round of Monday's Fun Day!

Did you miss out on getting this beautiful set?

Photobucket

What you have to do is take a look at how many comments have been posted so far because you will theoretically be the next number. Be sure to type that number in first before typing in anything else in the comment box so that you don't forget! Please try not to post more than once. :)
Then tell me about your best friend or someone who makes your heart happy, other than your partner.
Here I am giving away this set called "Friendship Blooms" and I have one of my favorite songs playing "You've Got A Friend". Now I want to know about you.
I realized that as I have been reading everyone's posts, I know many of you through blogs I visit or message boards that I hang out at or used to be on. It would be fun to learn something new about you that ties in with this stamp set that I am giving away.

I will use a number generator or a number picker (one of my boys) and post a winner on Friday, 2pm PST.

What?! Just one stamp set as a giveaway? I wouldn't do that to you. lol! My blog candy has a special twist. You get little extra treats with the stamp set. You just have to wait and see what else you get!

Happy Monday!
Jane

My best friend is my sister. We actually are neighbors too. We sit and talk on the phone for hours. Thanks, Kathy Hering...

Well I would have to say my best friend (other than my dh!) is my sister. We talk for hours every day! We vent,we laugh, we drive each other crazy.....and I can't imagine my life without her!

My best friend isthe same one I had in high school. Only now she's 2 states away and we rarely get a chance to talk. But when we do it's a 4 hour marathon of dialogue that seems effortless. We always pick right back up where we off. And she makes me feel great about just being me. Isn't that what it's all about?

My best friend is across the country! But we just 'clicked' from the first moment we met! We've gone thru a lot with each other for the 8 years we've known each other.

eqpvnbpfMy best friend is actually my adult daughter! We talk on the phone every day even though we are 480 miles apart! We try to encourage each other in our Christian faith everyday.

#7 if I count the posts as not everyone put a #.

I used to always say my best friend was my mom because it was true as long as we weren't in the same house. But over the last 7 years I've come to really appreicate the friendships I've had with women my own age. One named Karen I met at my old job and we clicked immediately, now she's Aunt Karen to my kids.

My best friend would have to be my mom. We have always gotten along very well, played cards, shopped and chatted. She listens while I talk and talk on our shopping trips!

My best friend is Nicole, a friend that I met while I was in college. Surprisingly we did not "click" when we first met, but our friendship has grown so much over the years. We can be completely honest with each other, share anything, and support and encourage one another. We each have one child, and they were born exactly one month apart. It's been great fun sharing in the joys and trials of motherhood too.

My best friend also happens to have married my brother...woo hoo! I think (since I am the forgetful one) we have know each other for close to 15 years. I am the chatter, she is the listener and, as the years have passed, I have learned to be a better listener and she has become far more chatty. We are a real yin and yang type...I know we will be merry old widows in our nineties who will still have tons to talk about!

My best stamping friend is Michele. She is always up for trying new things and going to classes. She and I encourage each other and push one another to constantly expand our creative horizons.

#13. I met my friend, Tim, via the internet (AOL to be exact) 12 years ago. At the time it seemed random. He was in TX, I was in FL. Through moves, deaths, a divorce, etc., we've been each other's rock. I can't imagine being without him.

I love that saying...your friendship makes my heart happy !

My BFF and I have been friends since I was 14 ! She was 16 and married my brother! They divorced several years later , but she and I have remained the very best of friends! She's been more of a sister to me than he has been a brother! She and her family have been my family for about 33 years now :))

Thanks for the chance!

#16...My sister, Janet, has become my best friend throughout the years. I know that she is someone that I can always count on to be there for me or my family. It meant so much to me when she told me that she will take over for me as "the world's best grandma" should anything happen to me:)

#17 My best friend is the greatest! She's also my soul sister :) She used to be my junior in high school but we weren't close then. Only after school did we contact each other and became friends. We have lots of common interests and do almost everything together! She's so much fun! Thanks!

My best friend is my mom. She and I didn't have a great relationship until I grew up and matured, but we have more in common that anyone else I know. I try each day to be as good a mother to my boys as she was to me and my brothers, and hope that I can do half as good of a job as she did! My favorite quote is "A daughter is someone who grows up to be your best friend." No truer words were ever spoken!

#19 - my friend Jen. She's awesome... we chat, we shop and really my day isn't complete without my Jen time! We've only known each other since September... but I truely believe she's my soulmate (not in the same way as DH).

#20 Best friend? That's hard.... I have so many, you among them! As far as "best" friend goes, then I would have have to say my cousin Stacey. We have known each other all our lives (roughly 29 years) & are happy chit-chatting on the phone, painting each other's nails or confessing deep secrets without any fear of judgment. I love her humor & that people mistake us for sisters.

Great question, Jane!

I Met my friend Sue online about 4 or 5 years ago through a yahoo scrapbooking group. She has since become a very dear and one of my best friends. I got very lucky this past Feb. when Sue took a chance and flew all the way from Cali. to NY to come and visit me for 2 weeks. Now in 9 more days I am going to go on my very first plane ride by myself out to see her. We talk every day on yahoo IM and usually by phone too. She is always there for me and spoils me by sending me all kinds of goodies to feed my addiction. So if I win the stamp set or not I'm still a winner.
Sappy I know but it is how I truly feel!

My best friend is a childhood friend...we have known each other since we were 4 years old. Shes more like a sister to me, and Ive actually known her LONGer than my actual sister! Recently she moved a bit far away, which broke both our hearts, but its fun planning the visits together!. (and thanks so much for a chance to win this set, Ive even been trying to buy one on ebay! lol)

#28 I have many good friends so I really can't name one as my very best friend. Some are stamping friends and some are not. Where would we be without friends to share all the good and bad times. Thanks for offering this cool SU set as blog candy. I have never won any blog candy so hopefully this one will be it.

#29 I'm not sure if that is correct but it's in there. I too have several best friends and one being my oldest sister. We do so much together. She is also my best Stampin Up customer. She lives about 30 miles from me but that doesn't keep us apart to much.

I think I am number 31 and my best friend is Toni. I met Toni over the internet on ebay and she has been my best friend every single day since then. We are so close we are even closer than sisters. We are so close that if I do win I would have this sent to her. she is my other half my person whom I go to when I am sad. She lifts my spirts, comforts me when I am sad, tells me when I am wrong and just loves me as me.
