Pink Cat Studio - NEW Easter Digi Stamps!

Melissa has 10 new Easter themed digi stamps to share with you!

Six of them are brand new and 4 of them are converted rubber stamps. I was so excited when Melissa asked if I would be interested in making a sample for her new release. Of course I said "YES!!" I am so pleased to be able to participate along with guest designers Laura Pryor, Lysa Rohrer, Lauretta See, Crystal Irwin and the incredibly talented PCS Design Team.
Thank you, Melissa!

To view ALL of the awesome projects for the new release, please hop over to Pink Cat Studio.

Here are several projects that I came up with for the new release.  Enjoy!

Hopping Bunnies! Can you hear 'em? Wooooo hooooooo!

Yes... I cut the three bunnies apart and put them in separate windows.
But I kept them together for the next card.

This card uses the sketch for Mojo Monday 130.

Here's Easter Lily! Isn't she just adorable?!
I gave her fuzzy bunny ears, flower with glassy glaze, and a popped up basket.

Easter Bunny with Balloons is one of my faves!
I found a really cute bunny and carrots notepad with a magnetic strip on the back in the dollar bin at Target. I used it to create this altered notepad.

Flowersoft for da bunny and pink fluff for his ears.
The basket was cut out and popped up with dimensionals.
The balloons have glassy glaze on them.
All of the images have been colored with Copics.

Thank you for looking!
Don't forget to hop on over to Pink Cat Studio!
You are gonna love seeing what everyone has come up with!

Have a marvelous Monday!!

Scallop Envelope Box Tutorial

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!
The leprechauns were very busy in our home in the wee hours of the mornin'.
I stayed up until 4am so they must have come out sometime between then and 6am when the boys got up.
The family room is trashed!! LOL! Green glitter everywhere!

I have some AWESOME news to share!!

My Scallop Envelope Box Tutorial is now up over at Splitcoaststampers!!!

When Beate emailed me a few months ago, I thought I had done something seriously wrong and I was in trouble. I wonder if she gets that a lot. Anyways, I have been holding on to this since the end of last year and could hardly wait for today to finally arrive!

I have both step-by-step pictures as well as my very first video tutorial!

Please take a look and let me know what you think! If you have any questions, please leave them here or there, under comments.

Have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!!

Hey Prettie Peeps! HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

Before we get to my project, I just wanted to check in with you and see if you made it here from Wendy's awesome blog. If not, hop on over to Christie's and start from there. I don't want you to miss a thing! :)

Here's my project using the colors as my inspiration!
This is the Scallop Envelope Box.
My tutorial for it is now up over at Splitcoaststampers!
You can see the step-by-step over HERE.

This is what it looked like before I put some Aquamist cardstock on the flaps

Here's the after:

I added a handle by placing the ends underneath the Aquamist cardstock

Here's a closeup of Eggstra Special Easter Cooper

Recycle it!

Happy Wednesday! It's time for a new La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

It's Elena's turn to be our hostess this week!
Since March 17th is St.Patrick's Day, Elena decided to GO GREEN.
It's time for a RECYLE IT Challenge!
 Let's save the world!

Here are some ideas from Elena:
- use a cereal box as a chipboard to create your own embellishment
- use a lace or ribbon or buttons from the old clothes
- old newspaper or book page to make a paper flower
- instead of designer paper, try wrapping paper or wall paper
- use a bubble wrapping paper as a "stamp" to create your own background paper
- create a 3-D project by using an acetate package
- use raffia
- use old / inexpensive jewelry as a charm

The deets on the challenge has changed so please be sure to visit La-La Land Crafts for the new info!

Almost everything on (not inside) the Scallop Envelope Box is recycled!
My tutorial for this box is now up over at Splitcoaststampers!
You can see the step-by-step HERE.
Be sure to let me know what you think!

The box:

I recycled the cardboard that comes with SU Designer Series Paper

You can find my tutorial on SCS!

The flowers are made from a Target ad!

Curl the ends of the petals with the side of your scissors. Be gentle... newsprint tears easily!

Recycled cardboard from the end of a ribbon bobbin.
I punched it to a smaller circle with a 1" punch.

I used a distressing tool and roughed up the edges.

I poked two holes in the set of flowers and the ribbon bobbin cardboard.

I ran twine through the holes and tied a bow to hold everything together.

The box holds Prima flowers.
It's for a friend who LOVES cows and flowers...
and her favorite color is WHITE!

Doesn't Maya look so happy?!
I just love Happy Maya!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Fairy Irish!

I hope that you are having a fabulous weekend!
We're celebrating Ken's 7th birthday all weekend and later this week, I have something to share with you all... I can hardly wait :)

In my last post, I showed you a sneak peek of my Irish Fairy Jolinne.
Here's another look at her... isn't she so sweet?!

You can find different Jolinne stamps over at MFT.

I Dream of Stamping has a new challenge for March! It can be for St. Patrick's Day. Or perhaps you think green is the most awesome color. Maybe you live green and want to incorporate that into your project. Whatever your reason is, we invite you to make a card that is "GREEN".

I combined this challenge with a new sketch from The Sweet Stop.
Here's the sketch for SSS47:

Here is my card!

See that little clover in the corner?
I put it together on a button with 4 petite hearts.
I used the Heart to Heart punch (SU) to punch out the hearts.
Then I found a teeney green button and added a glue dot to the top.

Then I used the four holes as a guide for my teeney hearts.

After adding the third shamrock leaf, attach your stem (if you want one).

I swear I have the Bermuda Triangle thing goin' on in my craft room. A few weeks ago, I misplaced my Crop-A-Dile. A few days ago, I misplaced my CD holder of Circle Nestabilities. Both are still missing. Tonight, I misplaced the shamrock that you see in the picture above. My husband helped me search all over my craft room and it's nowhere to be found! My youngest came out, shook his head, and said (with hands on his hips) "Those Leprechauns!"

Okay! Now it's YOUR turn to show me!
Hop over to I Dream of Stamping for the details of this challenge!

GREEN challenge!

From shamrocks to leprechauns to lucky charms, anything is game as long as it's Irish and green. But wait... you might be saying "My favorite color is REALLY green!!" Then this challenge is for you!

I Dream of Stamping is having a GREEN challenge. Come join in on the fun!

My oldest son is turning 7 today! I know it's not much of an excuse but coupled with a long week and this celebration today, I have not been able to spend much quality time at the craft table. I am working on my green card tonight after the little ones (or not so little any more) are in bed. In the meantime, I have this sneak peek for you...

Meet Fairy Sweet Jolinne from MFT, who is now my IRISH fairy. :)

For each petal on the shamrock

This brings a wish your way-

Good health, good luck, and happiness

For today and every day.

I will be back with the full card tomorrow!
Hop on over to I Dream of Stamping and see what Jana and Michelle have come up with for this challenge!

PWC94 - Inspiration Challenge

It's wonderful Wednesday and this means I have two new challenges for you! If you are looking for La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge, then scroll down to the next post or click HERE.

I have a Inspiration Challenge from Paper Pretties! Now, if you didn't get here from Kristy Ketterlin's blog then you might want to hop back to the very start which is at Christie Ortman's blog

Ready for the inspiration?
Christie has this fun image for us to draw inspiration from!

Christie said that she normally doesn't promote a brewery. However, she simply loved the graphic design and the colours in this picture. I agree!

With that said, here's what I came up with for this inspiration challenge!

I used "Hippity Hoppity"... isn't she simply adorable?!
Both Hippity Hoppity and Bunny Slippers Sophia are 20% off this week!

Now hop on over and see what Jennifer Greco has in store for you!
