PWC 110 ~ Silver and Gold!

Hey Prettie peeps!
I hope that you are all having a fabulous week!

Paper Pretties has a load of awesome new products in stock in the Paper Pretties Boutique

Heather has Basic Grey Oliver and Olivia designer paper! She's stocked up on new Petaloo "Color Me Crazy"white paper flowers! Lots of embellishments! Copic Sketch markers too!!

All stamps are still on sale too!

Paper Pretties is now under new management and ships out from here, in the U.S.
Cheaper shipping prices!  Be sure to swing by Paper Pretties and check it out!

Today, Jana Weaver is hosting the challenge. Silver and Gold!

Deeply etched rubber stamps mounted on cling foam.
On sale for $5.48!!

I started with a layer of Hanami Dream (Dove of the East) designer paper. I laid a screen print from Hambly over that. It's a really beautiful screen print that's gold with a design that looks like waves. Under the two layers are two layers of black cardstock. The first layer under the designer papers looks like silver because I painted a silver border all around the edge with my Silverfox Smooch. Sophia has chrysathemums on her kimono that I colored with my Lionet Gold Copic Marker. The rest of her kimono was painted with Frost White and Champagne Mist glimmer paint (Tsukineko). I found the ribbon at a boutique in Half Moon Bay. Isn't that brad pretty? My dear friend, Michelle, let me take one home to play with... it's from the new SU catty!

Hoping that you will join in on the fun this week!
Now it's time to hop on over to Jennifer!

She Sells Sea Shells by the Sea Shore

Hello, everyone!
Did you have a wonderful weekend?
Mine was a very long one... but it's finally over and it's a new week!

What do you have planned this summer?

Any trips to the beach?

You saw this release last week...

I love it!

I especially love Candace and the coral reef image... so much so that I had to use it again this week.
You'll see me use the other images for Thursday's Sketch Challenge. ;)

A BIG thank you to Phyllis Long (SparklePlenty1000) over on SCS.
She was kind to leave me a wonderful comment on one of my cards in my gallery and invited me to join in on the fun over at Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.

I found this sketch for the week and had to use it for this card!
The sea shells are so much fun!
"She sells sea shells by the sea shore"... did I get that right? :)

Here's the sketch that inspired this:

LOVE it!

Pink Cat Studio *NEW* Release and Etsy Inspired Challenge!

Are you ready for a *NEW* Pink Cat Studio Release?

This week, Pink Kitty is making a digi appearance with her sweet bird friend. I love this kitty!! Melissa also has Strawberry Lily this week. She is just the cutest!!

Today, July 8th, when you purchase anything from the digital or rubber stamp stores you will receive the "Sweet Pea in Flowerpot" digital stamp for free! It will be emailed to you separately and within 12 hours after you make your purchase.

This will be the last digi stamp release for the month of July, so now is a great time to take advantage of the free digi with purchase that is being offered just for today (Thursday, July 8).

Next week it's Christmas in July at Pink Cat Studio!! Melissa is releasing 5 new Christmas themed rubber stamp sets!! Starting this Friday, she is also sponsoring the Christmas Stampin' ALL YEAR LONG challenge blog. If you participate in the challenge you could win 2 of the new Christmas rubber stamp sets that will be released next Friday, July 16th!

Speaking of challenges, Melissa is sponsoring not one but TWO challenges this week!

If you get a chance, please join in on the fun! You might be a winner of 5 digi stamps!!
I am joining in on the Etsy Inspired Challenge. Kimmieprout is the shop being featured this week.
I was totally  inspired by this set of buttons on her site... perfect for Strawberry Lily!!

I ALMOST did a "scratch and sniff" on this one!
I was out of strawberry Jello so it will have to wait until I get my hands on some.
Can you just imagine what that would smell like?!
Remember Strawberry Shortcake? LOL!

I love cats.
I had to make a card with Pink Kitty and her cute little birdie friend.
My own cat seems to have a thing for Pink Kitty.
Perhaps it was the glaze.
Mia decided to get a closer look up on my craft table as the first Pink Kitty was drying.
Mia jumped up on the table, knocking over my coffee.
Long story short, I had to redo my card.
Lesson learned... NO DRINKS ON THE CRAFT TABLE!! Grrrr!

Meow!

You Make My Heart DANCE

Hello Prettie Peeps!
Time for a new Pretties challenge and blog hop!
If you got here from Jana's blog, then you are on track!
If not, you might want to start at the very beginning of the blog hop with France's blog... don't want you to miss a thing! :)

Did you all have a good start to your week?
It's funny how losing a day in the week to a holiday makes my week that much more full of activities. I feel like I am trying to catch my breath. When I check something off my list, two or three other things pop up... all of them needing my immediate attention, of course. Does anyone else ever feel like this?

Today, I have a sketch challenge for you from Paper Pretties for Challenge 109. Frances has come up with yet another awesome sketch... take a look!

As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew I had to pull out my Hambly lace and butterflies. I have been hoarding them for just the right card and this is it! I saw the butterflies within the line of the sketch and grabbed Sophia Ballerina to ink up. What do you think? It doesn't photograph well but it's now one of my favorite cards... definitely one of my fastest cards! LOL!

I hope that your heart dances this week!

Now it's time to hop on over to Jennifer!
