2nd Challenge card completed! ** Monday's Fun Day! **

I'm on a roll! I completed yet another set of challenges over at SCS last night. :)
FS99 - Featured Stamper Challenge featuring Barbara (Stampfilled Dreams).
GinaKDec28 - Gina K Challenge #2 "Off Kilter"
SSNoTime67 - Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge #67 "New Toys"

Here is Barbara's adorable "Just So Hippy" card that I chose to CASE.

I chose it because I haven't used the Hip Hop Accessories stamp set yet and wanted to break it in. I changed the following:

* Color combination
* Stamp set (smaller image and different direction)
* Different sentiment
* Different ribbon
* Patterned paper that I set "off kilter" for Gina's challenge.

Here's my card:

Accessories: Copic Markers, Pretty in Pink satin ribbon, Chocolate Chip polytwill ribbon, Marvy Giga Scallop Punch, mat pack, paper piercer, vintage brad, Word Window punch, sponge daubers, Stampin' Dimensionals, snail adhesive, paper snips

I love your card very cute. I don't have that set by Gina K I might have to rethink that. One of my resolutions and I don't often do these because I try to live every day like yesterday, one of my resolutions is to show my love to my family a little bit more each and every day.

My #1 resolution is to spend more time with my children on their level.(if that makes any sense!) I feel like we are just going through the motions..you know go to school,this practice, that practice dinner, bed....etc, etc. I want to slow it all down and enjoy a little more. Time is going too fast!

Happy New Year!!

Cute , cute card!

I try not to make resolutions as such, seems to always set me up for failure!

But I do try to rethink a few of my ways. My big thing now is to try and have more patience with the kids, slow down and think before I react!

Hm, I always try not to make resolutions because I just can't keep them after the 2nd of January! but really, this year I just want to do things for a better ME! Just a general statement - one that could be as simple as reading more books (which I love), travelling (which I love) or even finally losing a few pounds just because I want to, not that I NEED to. *yes, I NEED to but never seem to be able to do it! LOL*

Jane, your work is always amazing. I don't really make new year's resolutions but I will say that I am going to put my heart and soul into trying to lose a ton of weight this year. Wish me luck! Thanks for the chance to win your blog candy.

I'm not usually very good at keeping resolutions I make, but I'm going to make a real effort this year. Resolution #1 is to craft at least one thing per week. Resolution #2 is to only buy craft supplies that I will *use*. Gotta stop hoarding! Now that my resolutions are in print, I have to stick to them, right? LOL Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to win some great blog candy!

Your card is so cute! I have a couple of stamping based resolutions this year:
1. Don't hoard...I'm going to use the DSP's and embellishments that I have been "saving" over the past couple of years. I have to use some of them before I can buy anymore!
2. Get organized! My stamping area is always such a mess. I spend more time looking for things than I actually spend creating. Hopefully, that will improve this year!!

Adorable card Jane, so glad you're already keeping up with your resolutions and it's not even 2009 yet!!

One of my resolutions is to get back to posting at least 4 times per week on my blog again.

Oh- and Julia had a great time at MLO yesterday doing her craft...thanks for posting the schedule!

Hi Jane, I'm like others, I don't really make New Years resolutions. I'm trying to take better care of myself. For example, my hair needs a cut...badly! I'm trying not to stress about minor things. I need to get back to doing yoga on a regular basis.

You know Jane I'm really just not a deep thinker or planner so I try to just take things day by day. But if there were any changes I'd like to make this year it would be:

1. Eating healthier
2. Read my bible more (daily)
3. Be a better wife and mother
4. Get more organized
5. Get more organized
6.. Get more organized
and so on.

Hope your New Year is blessed.

Janet

Hi Jane! Great card! I have two pretty specific "resolutions." One I want to be in my Bible more and two more personal prayer time. Thanks for a chance to win!

I scrapped a layout about my resolutions. My first one is to get fit and eat healthier foods and the second is to get more organized with mny scrappy stuff

Instead of making a list of things to do, I make a list of things not to do (I find that they are easier to keep)
1) I will not eat past 7pm in the evening. I tend to snack late, sometimes just before bed.
2) I will not spend more than 1 hour at a time on any one thing without taking a break. I tend to obsess when I start doing anything, be it cleaning, scrapping, gardening or anything. When I start something, lots of other things go undone.
