CCM Sketch #3 - A couple of days behind

Hi everyone!

Thursday came and went without my posting CCM Sketch #3 for Chi Chi Memories!
I am very sorry. I didn't forget. Most of you probably already know that I deal with migraines on just about a weekly basis, especially since I took myself off of Topamax (anti-seizure medication used as treatment for migraines). I am finally starting to find some release from this one, just in time for Mother's Day! Hooray!

I decided to make a birthday card for my brother using Sunny Boy.

This card was also made with Cute Card Thursday's Challenge 111: "Boyz to Men"

"Elle & Rosaline" from Ellephantastic

Hello everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful week!

Today, I would like to introduce you to Elle & Rosaline.

Elle loves Rosaline and takes her everywhere she goes.

This week's theme is "Girlie" and try as I might, I just could not get her to wear pink!

She's feeling a little blue today.

 She did request flowers, polka dots, and a sparkly bow.

What Elle wants, Elle gets.

I used a Clear Spica Atyou marker to add the sparkle that Elle wanted.

Her eyes and the three faux brads receive some love from my bottle of glaze.

LOVE her eyes!

I coloured Elle and Rosaline with Copics.

The paper is from Luxe Designs.

Lately, I've been loving my Basic Grey Green at Heart papers, so they inspired this week's color challenge. So, create a card using Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Certainly Celery and Pumpkin Pie (yup, I want some orange in there!!) or similar colors.

Introducing FREDDIE!

Good morning, everyone!

I am super excited to introduce "Freddie"!

 Freddie is a cute little elephant that lives near a lake next to Chi Chi's home. He is one of Chi Chi's best friends and they hang out almost every morning. Freddie loves playing with Chi Chi in the lake and accompanying Chi Chi when she reads novels in her backyard. They do all sorts of things together and Freddie enjoys every moment he spent with Chi Chi.

 It was my make & take this past weekend at Memories Live On's National Scrapbooking Event. It was SO much fun!

I will have a tutorial on this come Thursday. :)

I was trying to think of something to send to a special someone for her new baby boy. I am already super late sending her my baby card!

This is super simple but thought it might come in handy for storing a few small items. This lion is just the cutest image!

I made this in honor of Ethan Weiman last year.

Just wanted to share this one more time.

Paper Pretties Release AND Birthday Celebration!

Hello prettie peeps!

 It's May 1st and that means NEW stamps and digital images from Paper Pretties!

We also have a very special birthday to celebrate today! It's also Christie Ortman's birthday! She is Prettie Mama to us Prettie girls, owner of Paper Pretties. 

Happy Birthday, Christie! It is such an honor to be part of your awesome Design Team but even more so "working" for you. I hope that today is a very special day for you, filled with many happy moments and lots of love! You deserve a day fit for a queen for all that you do!

We all made birthday cards for her and just about everyone sent it out to her last week except (of course) me. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that this happened but nevertheless, I am quite miffed about it. It will go out next week and make its way (slowly) to Canada. *sigh* I did make a birthday card using "What's Up Pussycat" though. :) This is one of our New Release sets! The adorable cat is holding onto a sign that is large enough for most of sentiments.

They are having a Color Challenge this week.

This set comes with a sentiment that reads "What's Up Pussycat?" but I decided to go with the sentiment  "Relax it's your day!" from another Paper Pretties stamp set "Soakin' Up The Sun". The inside has "Happy Birthday", which belongs to a Hero Arts birthday set.
