NEW Rubber from Pink Cat Studio!!

Hey PCS peeps! Hope you all had a terrific weekend!

Awesome news for all you rubber stampers... Melissa is releasing not one but TWO large rubber stamp sets AND a smaller set that features a super cute baby monkey and lion!

This is Princess Winter Lily!
Isn't she pretty?!
The rose is made with a punch and TH Distress Inks.
It was my make & take this past weekend at Memories Live On's National Scrapbooking Event. It was SO much fun!
I will have a tutorial on this come Thursday. :)

I was trying to think of something to send to a special someone for her new baby boy. I am already super late sending her my baby card!
This is super simple but thought it might come in handy for storing a few small items. This lion is just the cutest image!

I made this in honor of Ethan Weiman last year.
Just wanted to share this one more time.
It was about the time that I first heard of and fell in LOVE with Pink Cat Studio (thanks, Amy!!).

You can find that post HERE for closeups of this project.

Paper Pretties Release AND Birthday Celebration!

Hello prettie peeps!

It's May 1st and that means NEW stamps and digital images from Paper Pretties!

We also have a very special birthday to celebrate today! It's also Christie Ortman's birthday! She is Prettie Mama to us Prettie girls, owner of Paper Pretties.

Happy Birthday, Christie! It is such an honor to be part of your awesome Design Team but even more so "working" for you. I hope that today is a very special day for you, filled with many happy moments and lots of love! You deserve a day fit for a queen for all that you do!

We all made birthday cards for her and just about everyone sent it out to her last week except (of course) me. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that this happened but nevertheless, I am quite miffed about it. It will go out next week and make its way (slowly) to Canada. *sigh* I did make a birthday card using "What's Up Pussycat" though. :) This is one of our New Release sets! The adorable cat is holding onto a sign that is large enough for most of sentiments.

I joined in on the fun over at The Pink Elephant this week!
They are having a Color Challenge this week.

This set comes with a sentiment that reads "What's Up Pussycat?" but I decided to go with the sentiment  "Relax it's your day!" from another Paper Pretties stamp set "Soakin' Up The Sun". The inside has "Happy Birthday", which belongs to a Hero Arts birthday set.

By the way, if you didn't get here from Wendy's blog, then you might want to start at the very beginning on the Paper Pretties Homepage HERE. Otherwise, head over to see what Jennifer has created for Christie and the new release. Then hop over to Christie's blog to help us wish her a very special and HAPPY birthday!

TGIF! What a crazy week it's been over here! Hope you all had a good week!

I have another “Pretties Peek” to share with you all today! The new stamp sets and digital stamps will be available to purchase on Saturday, May 1st!

Today, it's all about bubbles! My images for today's sneak preek are the new “Bubble Time Cooper” digi image and “Bubbles Everywhere Sentiment”. I started out making a card but it soon turned into something a lot bigger... a scrapbook page! It's super simple but I love how easy it was to put these two images onto a scrapbook page!

I couldn't find the picture I wanted to put on the layout so I left ample room for one or two small pictures.

Here's a couple of closeups!

Now hop on over to visit with Frances and Julie... they have made a couple of samples with Sunny Days as well!
Have a FABULOUS Friday, everyone!

LLWWC 36 - Altered Embellishments

Hi everyone! It's time for La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

Maureen is our challenge hostess this week!
Her challenge: ALTERED EMBELLISHMENTS.
She wants us to take a store bought embellishment and change it in some way!
She has these suggestions as examples:
Cut a petal off a flower to make a butterfly, sew a running stitch through some ribbon and gather to make a ruffle, take any embellishment and color it with paints/inks/markers, etc.

Maureen is using Birthday Cake Maya on her card so it is on sale for 20% OFF through next Tuesday!

I made a pretty two-toned bow out of ribbon for the challenge. I also took two flowers and put them together with a brad for a layered look.

Here's my card using Cupcake Rosie:

I used the sketch for this week's Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge #53

Here's what I did to make the bow:

Now hop on over to La-La Land Crafts to see all of the fabulous samples created by our awesome Design Team and Guest Designers!
