To celebrate, we're having a 40% off all stamps in the store sale!!!
That's right! ALL of the  Paper Pretties stamps will be 40% off for the remainder of the week!

If you didn't get here from Wendy Bond's blog then you might want to start at the very beginning of this blog hop HERE.

Frances is hosting this week's 100th challenge, which is to create a tag and to use polka dots anywhere on the tag. It can be polka dot designer paper, embossing the dots, polka dot ribbon, polka dot embellishments... you get the idea. :)

The stamps that the design team are using on this week's cards /projects are: “Penny For Your Thoughts” and “Sassy Shoes”. I used one of the Prettie shoes from "Sassy Shoes" for my polka-dot tag.

So now that you've seen my TAG... it's YOUR turn!

Aloha from Pink Cat Studio!

There are FOUR posts today!
~ Looking for Jana's Birthday celebrations? La-La Land  and  Paper Pretties
~ Chi Chi Memories is counting down to Mother's day and has a FREE April giveaway!

ALOHA! Or should I say "Owl-oha"?!
Pink Cat Studio has a new release today!

I love Hawaii!
No... I am not from Hawaii.
Nope! I am not related to the Matsumoto Shaved Ice family although that would be SO cool! ;)
But I love all things aloha... including this super cute set!

Here are two samples that I made for the new release:

I had closeups of each card but I managed to misplace my camera tonight.
I'm really worried that I left it behind at a store.
When I find it, I will post those pictures.

Melissa has posted the awesome samples from the design team!
Hula on over to the Pink Cat Studio blog to see more aloha!

Mahalo!

Chi Chi Memories Countdown to Mother's Day and FREE April Giveaway!

The countdown to Mother's Day continues with Chi Chi Memories. 24 more days left!

What are you doing on Mother's Day? Are you getting something special or unusual for your mother or grandmother or step-mom... or whoever else is that special "mom" in your life? Ever get in that situation where nothing seems like the right gift to get that says "You are SO Special"?

I made this gift card holder for my mother. I'm not sure what gift card is going to go in there. Any suggestions?

This darling heart belongs to Chi Chi Memories "Happy Mommy Day" set.

Natalie has an APRIL FREE GIVEAWAY EVENT over at Chi Chi Memories.
She is also introducing the Chi Chi Community!

It's a Prettie Birthday!

Long time Prettie girl, Jana Weaver, is celebrating her birthday today! Woot woot!!
We're celebrating it with a birthday hop!

If you didn't get here from Wendy's blog, then you might want to hop to the start of our birthday hop with Christie. That way you won't miss any part of this virtual birthday celebration!

The set of drawers was made with SU Matchbox die. Each drawer holds a little treat. As for the card, I recently bought this medallion die and have been playing around with it. For Jana's birthday card, I folded Barely Banana cardstock in half and ran it through the Big Shot with the die. The back of the card didn't cut through all the way so I left it like that. To reinforce the back, I ran another set of Barely Banana and one sheet of Whisper White. The white cardstock was glued to the top and the last sheet of Barely Banana was taped down to the back of the original card. I used Simply Special for the main image since that's what Jana is... special. She's a super sweet friend and a very talented crafter. This one's for you, my friend!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Now hop on over to Jennifer's blog. You're almost at the end!
The last stop will be at Jana's blog.
Please help us wish Jana a very happy birthday!

A little birdie told me that there's a birthday to celebrate in La-La Land!

Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday dear JANA...
Happy Birthday to youuuuuuu!

Elena, Kim, and I have birthday posts up in honor of Jana's birthday today!
Elena has also put together a special birthday post over on the La-La Land Crafts blog.
Please join me in wishing Jana a very happy day...

Wishing you a very happy birthday, Jana!

Pretties Wednesday Challenge 99... SPRING BREAK!

Hi everyone! It’s Wednesday which means there are two challenges for you today! To see La-La Land Crafts "Get Scrappy with a NEW RELEASE", please click HERE!

For all you Prettie peeps, it's time for another Pretties Challenge and Blog Hop!

Now, if you didn't get here from Wendy's blog, then you might want to hop over to the very start of the blog with Prettie Mama Christie's blog so that you don't miss a thing!
This week the Design Team are using “Surf’s Up” and “Holy Mackerel” which are both the stamp sets that are on special this week … 35% off!

Since most of us are on Spring Break here in the U.S., Jackie Rakoski challenged us to create a card celebrating the ‘spring break’ in all of us!

So here's the thing... I went through my awesome Paper Pretties stash and realized that as much as I wanted to use "Surf's Up", I don't own that stamp! SO I pulled out the my “Holy Mackerel” penguin (super cute penguin too!), and gave him a very relaxed background to hang out in. For me, Spring Break means pajama days and being really relaxed. I hope you get that feeling when you look at this card!

Come join in on the fun! Play along with us Prettie girls!

How to Enter:
Create a card or a project using the challenge above and any Paper Pretties stamp set(s) you have.

LLWWC34 - Get Scrappy with a New Release!

Welcome to the La-La Weekly Wednesday Challenge!

Happy Wednesday! I'm so excited! It's my turn to host this week La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge! First, a big THANK YOU to all you who played in last week's sketch challenge!!! We LOVE seeing your creations using La-La Land Crafts stamps and digi images!

We have a new challenge for you this week to go along with a NEW RELEASE...  7 new images! Yesterday, you got a little peek. If you played along in our little game, you should stop by La-La Land Crafts blog to see if you won!

This week, I want to see what you can make with the SCRAPS that you have lying around. If you are like me, you have folders and bins of scraps stored away just for the right card... or maybe you have some lying around on your craft table (like me). LOL! Scraps are everywhere in my craft room! So now is the time to get your collection out and put them to good use! Scraps of cardstock, designer paper, ribbons... whatever you have lying around.

Since I used Lucky for my card, he is on sale for 20% OFF through next Tuesday!!!

Now, I would like to introduce our first new digital character...
LUCKY!

Isn't he adorable?!
I had a fun time coloring him.

Here's my sample:

I decided to join in on the fun over at CPS162.
It's my first time for Card Positioning Systems... FUN!

Looking forward to seeing what you can put together using scraps!
