Kevin has to work at a Mother's Day Brunch event that morning (part of CYS Basketball) so I'm not sure what I am doing that day. Maybe I will drive up to visit with my mother with my two boys. Great news!

Ellephantastic Saturday!

Hi everyone! I hope that you had a good week! Mine was a little crazy towards the end. Friday was one of those days where you wish you could crawl back into bed and start over. But it's Saturday now and I am getting ready to teach my Copics II class in the morning and my Accordian Box Cards Holder & Cards class later in the afternoon. I always look forward to these classes... catching up with my regulars and getting to know the newbies. :) Maybe I'll take some pictures and post here later tonight.

So today, the Ellephantastic Design Team have posted their cards using Helen's new "Bug Girls" digis.

I have a sketch challenge for you!

Time for Frances' sketch... take a look at this fabby sketch!

Here's what I came up with...

I ended up turning the sketch on its side.

I forgot to think about which way to have the sentiment facing...

I'm thinking it would look better facing the other way.

Anyways, I paper pieced Cooper's jammies and shaded over the designer paper with my Copics. I used a sponge and Walnut Stain to distress all around the edges.
